Meet Gator by Legend of Toys (L.O.T.), a 1:18 scale amphibious remote control vehicle designed for adventures that extend beyond ordinary RC driving. Finished in rugged military-inspired green, Gator features an angular off-road body, pronounced wheel arches, a reinforced-looking front bumper, roof detailing and oversized deep-tread tyres. Its high-clearance stance and broad wheels give it a distinctive all-terrain appearance, while the illuminated front LED headlights add visibility and character. Built for drivers who want to explore more than paved surfaces, Gator combines the visual appeal of a compact off-road truck with the versatility of an amphibious RC vehicle capable of operating on both land and water.

Under its tough exterior, Gator packs a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system powered by dual 12V DC brushed motors, a fully waterproof body and a precision-sealed construction designed for wet environments. Two speed modes and proportional throttle and steering give drivers greater control over acceleration and movement, while the dedicated 360-degree stationary rotation function makes tight manoeuvres and repositioning more engaging. The 2.4GHz remote control system offers a stated range of up to 100 metres under suitable line-of-sight conditions. Powered by a rechargeable 7.4V 500mAh 14500 2S lithium-ion battery pack, Gator provides more than 30 minutes of stated runtime per charge. Whether navigating a backyard course, crossing suitable shallow water or exploring outdoor terrain, this green amphibious RC car is an exciting option for young adventurers, RC enthusiasts and gift buyers seeking a versatile remote control vehicle.

What Makes Gator Different from a Standard RC Car?

Amphibious versatility: Conventional RC cars are generally intended for land use, whereas Gator is designed for both land and water operation. This opens up additional play possibilities, provided the water conditions and operating environment meet the manufacturer's requirements.

Controlled manoeuvrability: Proportional steering and throttle let drivers make measured adjustments rather than relying only on full-speed inputs. The 360-degree stationary rotation function adds another way to manoeuvre in confined spaces.

Adventure-focused construction: The waterproof body, sealed design and oversized tyres support Gator's intended use as an amphibious off-road vehicle. As with any waterproof RC model, the manufacturer's immersion limits and maintenance requirements should be followed carefully.

Who Is Gator For?

Kids and Young Adventurers: Gator provides an engaging way to explore remote control driving across suitable outdoor environments. Its two speed modes and proportional controls help drivers practise steering, acceleration and coordination. Adult supervision is recommended, particularly during water-based operation.

RC Hobbyists and Off-Road Enthusiasts: The 4WD system, dual brushed motors, oversized tyres and amphibious design make Gator an interesting alternative to conventional RC trucks. The stationary rotation function adds another dimension to manoeuvring and obstacle-based play.

Gift Buyers: For birthdays, holidays and special occasions, Gator offers an alternative to standard RC cars through its combination of off-road styling, waterproof construction and land-and-water capability.

Safety Warning & Age Restriction

Safety warning: Follow the manufacturer's recommended age rating and operating instructions. The official age recommendation has not been provided in the supplied product information. Small components may present a choking hazard to young children. Although Gator is designed for amphibious operation, do not assume it is suitable for every depth, current or water condition. Operate only in appropriate water environments, away from drains, strong currents, deep water and swimming areas. Keep the remote controller dry unless specifically rated for water exposure. Never leave the vehicle unattended in water. Use only the specified charging equipment, charge the battery in a dry, ventilated location and never charge a wet or damaged battery. Adult supervision is recommended for younger users.
