The Autobot leader's magnificent 1/3 Scale 43-inch bust features an amazingly detailed blend of modern and classic design elements from the Transformers G1 animated series. The base contains futuristic Cybertronian elements, with the Autobot logo prominently displayed on the front. The base itself has a light-up feature that enhances the base's colours.

XM has given it an amazingly detailed torso with greased and worn down mechanical parts can be seen moving up from the bottom. Collectors will be able to display their Optimus Prime bust with the chest windows closed or open to reveal the Matrix of Leadership, which can be illuminated. A row of lights runs along the top of the chest, adding to the statue's regal appearance as Optimus Prime stares ahead.
