KINTARO, like Goro and Sheeva, is a four-armed Shokan. He is, however, of lower-class Tigrar ancestry, unlike his aristocratic comrades. When recruiting Shokan and Centaurs into Shao Kahn's service, one of each race must engage in bloody kombat with the other. Kintaro slayed his opponent and then roared for more Centaur blood in an unprecedented display of bravado. Centaurs threw themselves into the ring with ferocity, only to die. Kintaro was appointed as Shao Kahn's personal bodyguard as a result of this savagery. The iconic villain has appeared regularly in the Mortal Kombat series of Video Games.
