Bring the Namekian warrior to your collection in his Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero form with the S.H.Figuarts Piccolo Action Figure by Tamashii Nations. Released in 2022, this highly articulated collectible recreates Piccolo as he appears in the feature film, with a newly modeled head and facial sculpt developed specifically around his updated movie design. The result is a version of Piccolo that reflects the sharper character styling, revised proportions and updated costume colors seen in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

Standing approximately 6.3 inches (16 cm) tall, this Piccolo figure is built for dynamic posing and display rather than simply standing as a static character piece. His familiar Namekian features, pointed ears, antennae, muscular physique, purple gi, red waist sash and distinctive yellow arm and shoulder sections are carefully represented. Multiple articulation points throughout the body allow collectors to recreate Piccolo's characteristic martial-arts stances, defensive positions and action poses from the Dragon Ball universe. For fans of Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Piccolo and S.H.Figuarts, this release offers a focused interpretation of one of the franchise's most enduring characters.

Piccolo From Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero version of Piccolo is visually distinct from several of his earlier appearances throughout the Dragon Ball franchise. This S.H.Figuarts release reflects those updates through its revised head sculpt, facial expression and costume presentation.

Piccolo retains his instantly recognizable green Namekian skin and antennae, while his purple martial-arts uniform and red sash create the familiar color combination associated with the character. The yellow sections around his upper arms and shoulders provide additional contrast and help distinguish this specific costume design.

The newly modeled face is particularly important to this release. Rather than simply reusing an older Piccolo head sculpt, the figure was developed to capture the character's appearance in the 2022 film. The result is a more contemporary interpretation of Piccolo suited to collectors building a Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero display.

S.H.Figuarts Articulation & Display

A major reason collectors choose S.H.Figuarts is the combination of character sculpting and articulation. Piccolo is designed to move through a variety of poses while retaining the recognizable proportions of the character.

The articulated construction allows the figure to be displayed with his arms extended, positioned for martial-arts techniques, placed into defensive stances or spread into wider combat poses. The legs can also be adjusted for more dynamic positioning, allowing collectors to create a display with greater depth and movement.

For photography and diorama-style displays, the articulation provides additional flexibility. Piccolo can be positioned as though he is preparing to attack, defending against an opponent or standing in his characteristic composed martial-arts posture.

Sculpt & Paint Details

The figure's green skin uses a clean, saturated finish that contrasts strongly against the darker purple of his clothing. The head features Piccolo's smooth, elongated Namekian facial structure, pointed ears and characteristic antennae.

His purple uniform features sculpted folds throughout the torso and trousers, giving the clothing a more dimensional appearance. The red sash wraps around the waist and creates a strong visual break between the upper and lower sections of the costume, while the yellow arm and shoulder details add another layer of color separation.

The overall finish is designed to look clean under display lighting, making the figure suitable for both casual collection displays and more carefully arranged anime figure photography.

Why Add This Piccolo to Your Collection?

Piccolo has remained one of the most important characters in the Dragon Ball franchise since his introduction, evolving from an early antagonist into one of Earth's most dependable warriors, mentors and defenders. His importance becomes especially prominent in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, where the story places considerable attention on his abilities, intelligence and relationship with the next generation of fighters.

This S.H.Figuarts release is therefore more than a general Piccolo figure. It specifically represents the character's Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero interpretation, making it particularly useful for collectors who want their display to reflect the modern Dragon Ball era.

The 6.3-inch scale also makes the figure easy to integrate into a broader S.H.Figuarts display. Pair it with other Dragon Ball Super characters to create an articulated anime collection, or use Piccolo as the centerpiece of a dedicated Namekian or Super Hero display.

For collectors who prioritize sculpt accuracy, articulation, character-specific design and premium anime collectibles, this Piccolo release offers a strong representation of the character's 2022 movie appearance.
