The Marvel Cinematic Universe is on the brink of yet another game-changing chapter, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day looks ready to swing right into the center of it. As the first entry in Tom Holland’s brand-new trilogy, the film is shaping up to be one of the biggest Spider-Man stories ever told on the big screen. With villains like Scorpion, Tombstone, and the rumored involvement of Kingpin, Mister Negative, and Tarantula, the movie already promises an electrifying showcase of New York City’s deadliest threats.
But Spider-Man never stands alone. Confirmed alongside Peter Parker are Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher—his long-awaited big-screen debut. Yet Marvel rarely stops at “just enough.” Could Brand New Day secretly be the MCU’s stealthiest crossover event before Avengers: Doomsday? From iconic street-level vigilantes to powerhouse Avengers, here are the MCU heroes who could very well appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Sam Wilson has stepped up as the new Captain America, rallying Earth’s Mightiest Heroes after the multiversal chaos left behind by Thanos and Kang. At the end of Captain America: Brave New World, Sam is already preparing for a cosmic-level showdown, one that will lead directly into Avengers: Doomsday.
As Brand New Day is the final MCU film before Doomsday, it’s hard to imagine the movie not teasing that event. A cameo from Sam Wilson—perhaps in a post-credits recruitment scene—would make perfect sense. Even better, it would finally put Anthony Mackie and Tom Holland back on-screen together after years of off-screen banter and playful rivalry. Their chemistry is simply too good to waste.

Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi instantly became a fan favorite in Phase 4, yet his absence since 2021 has left audiences restless. Ironically, his director Destin Daniel Cretton is helming Brand New Day, delaying Shang-Chi’s own sequel in the process.
Marvel could ease that frustration by giving Shang-Chi a stylish cameo. His Ten Rings and martial artistry would bring a fresh visual dynamic to Spider-Man’s fight scenes, while also teasing his future as a key Avenger in Doomsday.

Doctor Strange vanished from the MCU after his Multiverse of Madness cliffhanger, where Clea recruited him to tackle the Dark Dimension. Fans are still waiting to know what happened next.
Since Brand New Day will directly precede Avengers: Doomsday, it’s the last logical chance to update Strange’s storyline. His past history with Spider-Man—and the lingering mystery of his spell—makes him a natural fit for at least a limited role.

Sadie Sink’s mystery casting has set the internet ablaze. While some theories suggest Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy, others speculate she could be Jean Grey herself.
With the X-Men’s MCU debut looming after the Multiverse Saga, Brand New Day could quietly plant the seeds. Even a college-aged Jean meeting Peter Parker would set up exciting storylines for the future.

Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova is one of the MCU’s rising stars, now standing as a leader among the New Avengers. Rumors strongly suggest she’ll pop up in Brand New Day—and given that the New Avengers’ headquarters (formerly Avengers Tower) has deep Spider-Man ties, the groundwork is already there.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin kicked open the door for the Netflix heroes. Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones is set to follow. That leaves Luke Cage (and Iron Fist) waiting in the wings.
Mike Colter has expressed his desire to return, and Brand New Day—already starring Punisher—could be the ideal reentry point. Imagine the synergy of Spider-Man, Punisher, Daredevil, and Luke Cage fighting side by side on the streets of New York.

Out of all the rumored cameos, none excites fans more than Daredevil. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock already appeared in No Way Home as Peter’s lawyer, but audiences crave the real payoff: Spider-Man and Daredevil fighting side by side.
With Punisher confirmed, it feels inevitable that Daredevil will join the fray, uniting Marvel’s most iconic street-level heroes in one blockbuster. This duo is long overdue for their cinematic spotlight.
Even with Scorpion, Tombstone, Punisher, and Hulk already confirmed, the Spider-Man comics are brimming with fascinating characters Marvel Studios could adapt for live-action. Here are some standout names who could easily swing into Brand New Day:

In the comics, Silver Sable is the leader of the mercenary group known as the Wild Pack and a skilled fighter who often operates in the morally grey space between hero and villain. While she sometimes clashes with Spider-Man (usually when she’s hired to take him down), she’s also been one of his allies against greater threats like the Sinister Six.
MCU potential: With Marvel shifting toward more global espionage and mercenary stories (Thunderbolts, Captain America: Brave New World), Silver Sable could add a Black Widow–style edge to Spider-Man’s corner of the MCU.

The Prowler is one of Marvel’s most layered street-level characters. In the comics, Hobie Brown starts out as a small-time thief but eventually reforms and becomes a costumed antihero. MCU fans already met Aaron Davis (Donald Glover) in Spider-Man: Homecoming, who even hinted at having a nephew—Miles Morales.
MCU potential: Bringing the Prowler back would not only flesh out New York’s criminal underworld but also pave the way for Miles Morales’ live-action debut.

Introduced in Marvel’s Ultimate Comics, Miles Morales quickly became one of the most beloved versions of Spider-Man. With powers similar to Peter’s but unique abilities like camouflage and venom blasts, Miles brings fresh energy and perspective to the Spider-verse.
MCU potential: No Way Home teased the existence of Miles, and fans are waiting for him to officially enter the MCU. A cameo or post-credits tease in Brand New Day could set up his eventual arrival as Peter Parker’s protégé or ally.

Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman, has a complicated history in Marvel Comics. She was once a HYDRA agent, later became a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, and eventually joined the Avengers. While not directly related to Peter Parker in the comics, her inclusion would expand the “Spider-family” on the big screen.
MCU potential: Jessica’s ties to espionage and cosmic adventures could easily connect her to both Spider-Man and broader MCU arcs, bridging the gap between street-level and intergalactic storytelling.

Felicia Hardy, better known as the Black Cat, is one of Spider-Man’s most iconic supporting characters. Initially a cat burglar with a personal vendetta, she eventually develops a complex romantic relationship with Peter Parker. Her presence constantly blurs the line between ally and adversary.
MCU potential: With Peter and MJ currently estranged after No Way Home, Brand New Day could introduce Felicia Hardy as both a love interest and a moral challenge for Peter, adding depth and tension to his journey.

Kraven is one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous adversaries—a master tracker and hunter who views Spider-Man as the ultimate prey. His most famous storyline, Kraven’s Last Hunt, remains a fan-favorite dark tale in Marvel Comics.
MCU potential: Sony’s upcoming standalone Kraven film complicates matters, but Marvel could still bring their own version into the MCU later. Kraven would raise the stakes by turning Brand New Day into a survival story for Peter.

As the first supervillain Spider-Man ever faced in the comics (Amazing Spider-Man #1, 1963), Chameleon is a master of disguise who uses his shape-shifting tech to infiltrate and manipulate. He’s also Kraven’s half-brother, which ties neatly into Spider-Man’s rogues gallery.
MCU potential: In a film rumored to focus on crime lords like Kingpin and Tombstone, Chameleon could serve as the perfect infiltrator, adding paranoia and deception to the mix.

A duo blessed—and cursed—with mystical powers, Cloak can engulf enemies in darkness while Dagger wields daggers of pure light. Often allies of Spider-Man in the comics, they specialize in street-level threats mixed with supernatural elements.
MCU potential: Their presence could blend mystical fallout from Doctor Strange’s spells with Spider-Man’s grounded street battles, offering a unique tonal mix.

A ruthless mob boss with a distinctive flat, reinforced skull, Hammerhead has long been a staple of Spider-Man’s street-level villains. Obsessed with old-school organized crime, he often clashes with other New York crime lords like Kingpin and Tombstone.
MCU potential: With Brand New Day shaping up to be a gangster-heavy storyline, Hammerhead could slot in perfectly as part of New York’s underworld power struggle.

In an alternate universe, Gwen Stacy is bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter, becoming Spider-Woman (popularly known as Spider-Gwen). Since her debut, she’s become a fan favorite, especially after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
MCU potential: With the multiverse saga still unfolding, introducing a live-action Spider-Gwen would be a major crowd-pleaser and allow Marvel to explore Peter’s lingering grief for his Gwen while expanding the Spider-family on screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Marvel’s chance to blend street-level grit with universe-shaping stakes. Whether through teases of the Avengers’ next chapter, long-awaited Netflix hero returns, or the introduction of mutants, the movie could become the ultimate bridge to Avengers: Doomsday.
For fans, the question isn’t whether cameos will happen—but how many.
